Jiu Steel Short Process Casting and Rolling Aluminum Deep Processing Project Stepped up

Recently, the reporter learned from Jiuquan Tiancheng Color Aluminum Co., Ltd. that the project of deep-casting and deep-rolling of green cast steel in Jiuquan Steel has progressed smoothly. The participating units actively organized to overcome the adverse effects such as weather and staff shortages. The original projects were successively started, and the subprojects with conditions were also fully started. The project construction was accelerated as planned.

In terms of equipment installation and debugging, the casting and rolling plant completed 16 production line furnace group masonry, No. 35 and No. 36 furnace groups began formal ovens, No. 35 and No. 36 cast iron mills were undergoing hydraulic system flushing and electrical wiring, cast No. 31-34. The rolling mill is undergoing machinery and equipment alignment work; the cold rolling workshop plans to install the first cold rolling mill equipment in August; the first cold rolling mill will be delivered for trial production in December; and the remaining four cold rolling mills will be held in January-April next year. The pilot production was delivered; the color plate shop planned to begin production of the first coating unit in December, and the remaining three coating units will be delivered before the end of February next year.

In terms of building construction, the workshops for the casting and rolling mills have all been closed, and construction of flatbed truck foundations, construction of dedusting flue ducts, and installation of interior wall panels and windows are underway; steelwork for the main factory buildings of 1-71 shafts of the cold-rolling workshop has been hoisted; Tianchaliang, etc. installed, 72-107 axis of the main plant steel structure is being produced; color plate workshop is on the 21-45 axis main building steel hoisting and 1-20 shaft column foundation construction.

For public facilities, No. 1 pump station, No. 2 pump station, and nitrogen station basically have equipment installation conditions. 110 kV substations, 10 kV central distribution, and deionized water pumping stations are supporting construction facilities as planned. Installation of public and auxiliary system equipment has been fully carried out. The ring roads have been refurbished to ensure smooth transportation of product and auxiliary materials after commissioning.
