The current price of civil natural gas in Xingtai City was determined in 2002 and has not been adjusted so far. In the past eight years, due to the upward adjustment of upstream natural gas prices and the rise in various commodity prices, the cost of natural gas has increased substantially. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the prices of existing natural gas. According to reports, the rate of increase in natural gas prices for urban residents will not exceed the price increase of upstream natural gas prices. In addition, natural gas used by urban low-income households will also carry natural gas sales prices for indigenous residents.
It is understood that after the increase in natural gas prices for urban residents, the maintenance and maintenance costs of the original courtyard pipe network facilities will no longer be charged separately to users. Among the gas-operated charge items declared by gas companies, except for transfer fee, re-applying gas-use certificate and re-issuing IC card fee, other items will no longer be charged to the user.
Delegates generally agreed that there are certain positive effects on the adjustment of civil natural gas prices, which can not only improve people’s awareness of energy conservation, but also improve the operating conditions of gas supply companies to a certain extent, improve gas supply capacity, and meet the interests of the people, but adjustments have been made. The magnitude should not be too large. It also hopes that the gas supply companies will further improve their management level and provide consumers with better services. Xingtai City Price Bureau will organize the representatives' opinions and refer them to the municipal government for approval.
