The difference between acephate and methamidophos

What is the difference between acephate and methamidophos?

Literally, acephate is definitely a follow-up product to methamidophos. Simply put, acephate is acetylated by methamidophos, in other words, it is attenuated.

Methamidophos and acephate are a pair of twin brothers in the family of organophosphate insecticides . Their chemical names are formerly known as O, S dimethylamino phosphorothioate, and the latter are called O, S. Methyl acetyl phosphorothioate. However, the toxicity, performance, control objects and application crops of the two are quite different. Methamidophos belongs to the highly toxic pesticide LD50 (lethal to moderate) rats with an acute oral port of 21 mg/k. The oral LD50 of acephate was 945 mg/kg, the rabbit dermal LD50 was 2000 mg/kg, and the beagle was administered 1000 mg/kg every day for 1 year. No lesions were found; chicks were LD50. It is 852 mg/kg; squid TLM is 9550 mg/kg, white peony (48H) 485 mg/kg, red mullet TLM (48h) 104 mg/kg.

Summary: The difference between acephate and methamidophos is the toxicity.

Activated Carbon can be used for city drinking water advanced purification, removal of residual chlorine, odor; also advanced purification materials of high pure water, mineral water production process; large-scale boiler feed water to the removal of COD and other harmful impurifies, can improve the efficiency of the boiler and prolong the service life of the boiler; effective remval of COD in water, pigment, odor and other toxic substances. Large Granular Activated Carbon can fill the filter and purify the air.

Activated carbon in this classification can be divided into Activated Carbon For Water Treatment. Activated Carbon For Air Purification. Activated Carbon For Filters. Activated Carbon For Desulfurization.
