Gleason has introduced the 200GX and 260GX threaded wheel grinders, the latest addition to its highly successful Genesis range. The dual spindle concept combines maximum productivity with minimal idle time and settling time. Quick and easy software boot settings allow the user to set up the GX Series from one workpiece to another in just 20 minutes.
The “first cycle†takes place from the start of the setup to the first workpiece grinding, using a fully automated workflow. In addition, the machine tools are equipped with the latest innovations such as: twist-controlled grinding, automated process data solutions, variable speed methods (VRM) for good surface construction, and polishing methods for high-quality surface finishes. With a simple QR code scan, it can be directly connected to the Gleason GMS Gear Analysis Tester to increase the productivity of the GX Series. The productivity of the GX series will be further enhanced with automation solutions with Gleason automation systems.
