The data shows that from January to June, the total value of Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports still ranks first among all provinces and cities in the country. Among the top 6 provinces and cities in China's import and export, Guangdong's import and export growth in the first six months of the year ranked third among the six provinces and cities; export growth and import growth remained the second and fourth respectively. In June alone, Guangdong's foreign trade exports increased by 18.9%, and imports increased by 23.6%. The monthly import growth rate was higher than the export growth for the first time in the year. According to statistics, from January to June, the import and export of machine tools and equipment in Guangdong Province was US$ 2001 billion, an increase of 28.6%, accounting for 56.1% of the total import and export value of Guangdong Province. The import and export of general trade was US$123.93 billion, an increase of 25.7%. According to statistics, in addition to trade with Hong Kong, Guangdong's growth rate against the other five major trading partners is lower than the overall growth rate, and the import and export of emerging markets is growing rapidly. From January to June, in Guangdong and the top six trading partners, except for the growth rate of import and export of Hong Kong reached 43.5%, the growth rate of ASEAN was lower than the overall growth rate of Guangdong by 6.7 percentage points to the United States, the European Union, Japan and Taiwan. The growth rate of the four major trading partners was lower than the overall growth rate of Guangdong by more than 10 percentage points. In the same period, Guangdong's total import and export value to emerging markets such as Latin America, the Middle East and Africa were US$16.53 billion, US$14.51 billion and US$10.9 billion, respectively, which increased significantly by 36.9%, 44.1% and 76.3% respectively. In terms of export products, from January to June, the export of CNC machine tools and equipment in Guangdong Province was 137.89 billion US dollars, up 25.6%, accounting for 67.5% of the total value of Guangdong's foreign trade exports, including CNC cutting machine tool exports (intersect with mechanical and electrical products, the same below) 749.2 Billion dollars, an increase of 24.6%. It is worth noting that since March, the export growth of CNC cutting machine tools and mechanical and electrical products in Guangdong Province has continued to decline. In June alone, Guangdong's export of CNC cutting machine tools and mechanical and electrical products continued to fall sharply, up 12.9% and 11.7% respectively. In April, it fell by 10.8 and 9.8 percentage points.

It is also a pickling agent in chrome tanning and helps to impede vulcanization of chloroprene in synthetic rubber production. In processing cotton for disposable cotton pads, sodium acetate is used to eliminate the buildup of static electricity.
For Concrete longevity:It is used to mitigate water damage to concrete by acting as a concrete sealant, while also being environmentally benign and cheaper than the commonly used epoxy alternative for sealing concrete against water permeation.
For Food:It may be added to food as a seasoning, sometimes in the form of sodium diacetate, a one-to-one complex of sodium acetate and acetic acid, given the E-number E262. It is often used to give potato chips a salt and vinegar flavor.
For Buffer solution:As the conjugate base of acetic acid, a solution of sodium acetate and acetic acid can act as a buffer to keep a relatively constant pH level. This is useful especially in biochemical applications where reactions are pH-dependent in a mildly acidic range (pH 4-6).
