Operation sandblasting machine should pay attention to the following details

First, the amount of sand is small or even not sand at all. If the sand material in the sand storage tank is running low, turn off the gas supply and carefully add the appropriate amount of dry sand to the system. It's important to ensure that the sand used is suitable for the blasting process and not contaminated or degraded. Second, the sandblasting gun may be clogged. If this happens, turn off the air supply and check the next nozzle for any blockages. If there are foreign objects, clean them out immediately. Also, make sure the sand material is dry—excess moisture can cause blockages, so it’s essential to use compressed air that is free from moisture. Third, the sandblasting hose could be blocked by debris or buildup. To resolve this, turn off the air supply, remove the nozzle first, then start the sandblasting machine and use high-pressure air from the compressor to blow out any obstructions. If this doesn't work, you may need to take apart the hose, clean it thoroughly, or replace it if necessary. Fourth, if the abrasive mix isn’t producing enough sand, check the spray gun nozzle and ensure the abrasive is flowing properly. After drying the material, use a sieve to filter out any impurities and ensure even particle size. Fifth, the compressed air from the air compressor often contains moisture, which can cause the sand to become wet and lead to clogging. Moisture can also cause the inside of the sandblasting pipe to become damp, causing sand to stick and gradually block the line. To prevent this, it’s best to install a dryer with the system. If moisture is already an issue, address it immediately to avoid further damage. Sixth, if the sandblasting abrasive isn’t filtered before use, large particles or clumps can enter the sand valve and cause blockages. In such cases, turn off the feeding mechanism, open the sand valve fully, and let the pressure tank release the sand. Then, use high-pressure air to clear any blockages. If this doesn’t work, disassemble the sand adjuster, remove the sand, and reinsert it after filtering to ensure it’s clean and uniform. Seventh, adding too much sand at once can overload the system and prevent proper pressurization. Always add sand in small, controlled amounts and do it slowly to avoid overfilling. This helps maintain smooth operation and reduces the risk of clogs.
