Recent data from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association's Silicon Branch indicates that domestic polysilicon prices have remained stable at low levels since June. The mainstream price range has stayed within 105,000 to 130,000 yuan per ton, with an average of approximately 121,000 yuan per ton. Analysts suggest that this stability is partly due to rising anti-dumping concerns in key markets such as Europe, the U.S., and South Korea. As a result, future domestic polysilicon prices may shift toward upstream channels, potentially affecting supply chains.
Meanwhile, imported polysilicon prices have also remained steady since early June, with the main price range hovering between $15.8 and $18.5 per kg, averaging around $16.25 per kg. This consistency in pricing reflects the current balance between global supply and demand.
Notably, following the EU’s announcement of a temporary anti-dumping duty of 11.8% on Chinese solar panels and components, polysilicon manufacturers are increasingly anticipating potential "double countermeasures" from the U.S., South Korea, and the EU. If preliminary rulings are confirmed, downstream demand for domestic polysilicon could surge, leading to a corresponding increase in spot prices.
