U.S. Pushes the Silent Guardian Hybrid UAV

According to the China National Defense Science and Technology Information Network, the United States, Bye Aerospace, is committed to providing a variety of clean energy solutions that can be used to improve aircraft design for the international aerospace and defense market. The company is currently planning to introduce a kind of silent guardianship. "Silent Guardian" hybrid drone.

This UAV provides energy for ultra-long endurance, silent flight, and low emissions through the use of highly advanced solar photovoltaic membranes and batteries for the electric propulsion devices on the aircraft. At the same time, the UAV uses a turbofan. The engine is used to improve takeoff and climb performance. In particular, it is worth noting that Bye Aerospace also introduced advanced “management by exceptions” concepts on Silent Guardian drones through the use of operational optimization and emergency management software developed by BoldIQ. When users operate and use UAV fleets and manage related tasks, they greatly increase work efficiency while reducing the number of operators.

According to Bye Aerospace, the Silent Guardian drones can be used militaryally for border patrols and domestic security alerts, search and rescue, visible/thermal radiation reconnaissance, and frontier air control. Potential civilian applications include disaster monitoring, Natural resource exploration, air law enforcement, transport pipeline and power line inspections, wide area climate monitoring, aerial photography, communications and data relay.
