Energy-saving and environmental protection air conditioner installation technical requirements

(Top wind, bottom air installation technical requirements)

For energy-saving and environmentally-friendly air conditioners, the bottom air outlet installation must follow specific guidelines to ensure optimal performance and durability. First, a 40x40x4 angle iron frame should be used to connect the unit to the wall or window panel using bolts for stability. All gaps between the duct and the structure should be sealed with glass glue and cement mortar to prevent air leakage and improve insulation. The cross-sectional area of the air supply duct must not be less than 0.45 square meters to maintain proper airflow. The triangular brackets used for mounting should be welded securely and installed firmly to support the unit's weight. Additionally, the mounting bracket and the main unit must be perfectly level to avoid vibrations and noise. Any parts of the duct that are exposed to the exterior should be properly waterproofed to prevent damage from rain or moisture.

For the top air outlet system, the contact area between the main unit and the bracket should be padded with a shock-absorbing material to reduce vibration and extend the unit’s lifespan. The zinc-iron tile shed or roof structure where the unit is mounted must be strong enough to support the weight of the air conditioner. The size of the roof opening or window opening should not exceed the duct size by more than 20 mm, otherwise it may compromise the waterproofing. When installing in different locations, there must be enough space for air intake and maintenance access. The duct size entering the wall or window should be determined based on the installation location, but it should never be smaller than 0.45 square meters. Lastly, the remote control receiver box should be connected via a communication line that is routed through the air outlet pipe into the room. A 22 mm hole should be drilled in the air outlet pipe, and the receiver should be positioned in an area where it can easily receive the remote control signal.
