Standard Cap Liner Adjustment:
To ensure a secure and comfortable fit, start by adjusting the head-surrifier. This component pulls the cap hoop away from the cap and holds the five tightening straps in place. Gently adjust the head circumference so that the helmet sits at a 30-degree angle from the vertical. For optimal safety and comfort, it is recommended to position the helmet between 20 to 30 degrees. Repeat this process until the helmet fits snugly against your head without any looseness. The height of the helmet can be fine-tuned by adjusting the depth of the guide belt. Additionally, you can modify the tension by sliding the two side straps through the back holes of the neck support.
Ratchet Bracket Adjustment:
Ratchet brackets typically come in three sizes: S, M, and L. To achieve the best fit, adjust the bracket according to your head shape. The height adjustment is done by modifying the depth of the leader band. You can set the depth by sliding the quick tension straps through the holes on the back of the connector. This allows for a customized fit that ensures stability and comfort during use.
Chin Rest Adjustment:
Begin by locking the automatic buckle of the chin rest. Then, use the adjustable side clips on the lower chin rest supporter to move the chin strap into the desired position. Once adjusted, tighten the chin rest slightly but avoid over-tightening, as this may cause discomfort. If needed, slide the chin strap so that the chin rest is centered. Adjust the tightness of the back straps by moving them left or right. To test if the helmet is properly adjusted, loosen the chin strap and tilt your head forward—your helmet should stay in place without falling off. Also, ensure that the face mask does not touch your nose for proper clearance.
Face Shield Adjustment:
The face shield provides essential protection against heat, impacts, sharp objects, and flying debris. It can be manually raised or lowered to suit your needs. The resistance of the face shield’s movement can be adjusted using the knob located on the left side of the helmet. A positive or negative rotation of the knob will increase or decrease the resistance, allowing for a personalized feel. For added eye protection, safety goggles (depending on the model) can be adjusted using the lever on the right side of the helmet.
