2. Look at the thickness of the wooden veneer. Thicker surface layers offer better soundproofing. For example, TATA doors use an 8mm thick veneer, which is rare in the industry. While thicker layers improve sound insulation, they also increase costs.

3. Inspect the flatness of the door. A flatter door ensures better sealing between the door panel and frame. Any deformation can lead to gaps, allowing noise to leak through.

Additionally, the T-shaped door uses a rubber seal that stretches and compresses to enhance soundproofing. Three-Layer Soundproofing System

The T-shaped door consists of three layers. The outer layer is made of high-density solid wood panels, followed by a particle board-like middle layer with neatly arranged air holes for both soundproofing and thermal insulation. The inner core is environmentally friendly and contributes to around 30 decibels of sound insulation. When noise waves hit, the first layer reflects some of the sound, the middle layer absorbs the rest, and the final layer blocks what remains. This multi-layered approach ensures minimal noise penetration, making the T-shaped door a top choice for those seeking peace and quiet at home.
