Hard hat form requirements

Hard hat requirements are essential to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards. Here are the key specifications:

1. The top of the helmet should be reinforced, either through a light-weight design or a ribbed structure. The shell should be smooth without sharp edges, or it can have curved edges for added comfort.

2. The plastic inner lining must include a rear hoop that allows for adjustable sizing. This can be done using various methods such as pull-tab adjustment, button adjustment, or knob adjustment for a secure fit.

3. For helmets without a rear hoop in the chin strap, a "Y" shaped design is recommended. This type of strap allows for a single root, providing stability while maintaining flexibility.

4. The forehead band should be made from breathable and moisture-absorbent materials to enhance user comfort during long periods of wear.

5. The gasket around the headband can be designed in strips or blocks, and it should allow for proper air circulation to prevent overheating and discomfort.

6. All hard hat manufacturers must strictly adhere to national standards, such as GB2811-2007, to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the product.

7. It's important to note that "Y" type helmets are not designed to withstand lateral impacts. These helmets are specifically engineered to protect against vertical impacts, so they should not be subjected to side pressure, which could compromise their protective function.
